Answer #5

Watermelon, i know why its really called that not because it has a lot of water in it but because it makes us pee a lot afterwards

Answer #6

No, it’s called watermelon because of it’s high water content. A lot of water makes you pee. If your reasoning was right, it would be called peemelon.

Answer #7

Well then I have no idea lol. I thought it might be a urinary tract infection, but if there’s no pain, then it’s probably not.

A dietary change can often cause a temporary change in frequency of urination. Some things tend to cause “water retention”, e.g. salt and sugar. Reducing, or eliminating, salt and/or sugar from the diet will allow the body to excrete the previously retained water. . Also various foods and “substances” are diuretics - they tend to cause an increase in urination. These include beetroot and oats.
. Changing the balance of carbohydrate / protein / fat in the diet can temporarily affect the rate of urination, and in some people sharp temperature changes and extreme emotional states can affect urination levels. . Don’t rule out “Urinary Tract Infection” on the grounds of lack of pain. Pain is not always a significant symptom initially, and if the volume of urine (on each visit to the toilet) is lower than normal, such an infection remains a distinct possibility. . I suggest you take medical advice if the volume of urine your bladder is holding has dropped noticably, especially if there is no significant dietary change that accounts for these recent changes. .
