Does "ALLI" work? (Dietary pills that make u go to the bathroom) Has anyone taken them and if so how was your experience? Please Respond.

Answer #1

No diet pills work, all they do is make you sit on the toilet all day. There has been so many studies on diet pills, they all come out the same, the dont work and ther bad for your health.

Oh wow…i just paid for a bottle.smh heard they worked wonders but wanted more than just that one person’s opinion :-( Thanks

Yesterday there was a report specifically on “alli” that a new warning label must be applied to it that it may cause severe liver damage. Look it up.

Answer #4

Alli prevents our bodies from absorbing some of the fat we eat. The problem is if you eat too much fat while taking Alli you have unpleasant side effects (the frequent trips to the bathroom).

At best Alli only helps weight loss a bit. Among people who loose weight 95% gain it back. Alli won’t do much to help you be the 1 in 20 that manage to keep their weight off. There are good and bad things about Alli. Making it OTC probably wasn’t a good idea; it would be best for doctors to help people analyze the advantages and disadvantages of this medication.

Answer #5

I tried Alli, it’s actually different from most diet pills because it’s more like, to be used in conjunction with healthy eating and exercise. What it does, is stops the body from absorbing a certain percentage of the fat you intake. This means, if you eat something with too much fat you will have unpleasant, nasty, oily farts and diarrhea (sorry if TMI, but it’s true - I experienced it). But if you eat right while you take Alli, it can actually really help by blocking your body from absorbing all the fat. It’s not a “normal” diet pill.
