How to get my album art to show up on my ipod nano?

Okay, I’ve been looking on the internet forever now trying to get a decent answer but all I’m finding is a bunch of bs. I noticed that a few songs on my ipod I had recently downloaded weren’t showing up the album art although it was on itunes. I took someone’s advice I found over the internet to uncheck the “disable album artwork on your ipod” button, apply it, then recheck and apply it again. Well, that screwed it up even more-now none of my album art is showing up. Please, can someone help me here? I’m really beginning to get pissed off with all the useless “advice” I’m finding.

After you copy your artwork (from whatever source), go to iTunes, then “get info” on the song. You can then paste the artwork in under the artwork tab.
