What’s an Alaskan pipeline?

Answer #1

Hi joshthethug!!!

The Alaskan pipeline (also called the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline System) is a major U.S. pipeline for oil. It connects oil fields in northern Alaska to ports in Southern Alaska for shipping to the lower states in America.

The main pipeline is almost 800 miles long!

I’m attaching a picture of the pipeline system.

Hope that helps!
