Aim.com, making profiles public?

How do you make it so your aim profile isen’t private on aim.com? I am so confused.. I uploaded pictures but it says that my profile is private so no one can see it.

Hi,

According to their site, all profiles are public by default:

Your AIM Pages profile is public and available to the Internet at large.

Here are instructions on how to adjust the setting.

To make your profile viewable only to your AIM Profiles buddies:

  1. Go to http://profiles.aim.com.
  2. Sign in using your screen name and password.
  3. Click the View Profile link.
  4. Click the Edit My Profile link.
  5. In the left pane, click the Privacy & Settings link, then check the options you would like to display on your profile.
  6. In the PRIVACY section, click the Private profile option.
  7. Click the Save Changes button.
  8. Click the View My Profile link if you have finished making your edits.

Note: If prompted, click the OK button.
