How to know if he's sincere?

I’ve been knowing this guy since the beginning of Jan. since then we have been talking on and all because I always had a boyfriend. I kept one you know, even if I didnt reallly care, I had to have one to keep me occupied. Anyway he was patient with me, always acting as the other man in the situation. It was nothing sexual or anything, didnt go any further than kissing at first. Then later on we got closer and I left my boyfriend for him and that was about in late Aug. Now we are physically active. So we have been official together for 3 months and he said the magic words. . .”I LOVE YOU”. But I dont know if he’s sincere about it, or just saying it to say it. Oh yeah he’s 21 and I just turned 17 in beginning of Aug. So in my situation how would I know if he is sincere?

put him to the test, have another guy hit on you or smack your @ss and see what he does, if he gets pissed then ya, he’s sincere for the most part, but if he blows it off I’d think about it.
