advice on this short piece of writing

My Best (Human) Friend My best friend is (name removed to protect privacy). I met him at the beginning of seventh grade. He called me on the night of my 13th birthday and we talked for hours until my phone died. We’ve been best friends ever since. I can tell him anything and I do tell him everything. I share with him my dreams and my darkest secrets that no one else knows. He always listens and supports me 100%. He tolerates my weirdness and even joins in occasionally. He doesn’t judge me. He completely accepts me and understands me better than I understand myself. We have so many great memories and crazy inside jokes. I’ve found I never laugh more then when I’m with him. We fight once in awhile, but never to the point where we cant look back on it and laugh at our own stupidity. I don’t know how I’d survive without him! He has an awesome (and very immature) sense of humor. He stands up for me and isn’t afraid to tell anyone what he thinks. I admire his courage. If theres one thing I’ve learned in life so far, its that promises are a one way ticket to disappointment. But its different when we promise each other to be besties for life. I’m sure of it.
