How do you know what field to go into?
How do you know what field to go into? I am a double major in sociology and accounting and I am graduating next june with my B.A. I do not know which field to enter into first. I dont want to make a mistake and choose the field and be unhappy. Is there a career where I can use both of the degrees. I would really like to be able to help people, but I can not work for the Californian Welfare department, it is a giant trap and I can’t be apart of it. How do I know what field to go into?
The average person changes their career at least 3 times in their life…don’t be afraid to make the wrong choice - just go with the choice that seems best to you…you always have time to go back and fix where you went wrong.
Look at me…I’m 34 and I’ve studied Forensics, Law, Religions, Languages…I’ve pretty much settled on being a Chef, but I’m also an amateur novelist and currently studying Accounting.
There’s no limit to your potential if you refuse to get stuck in a place where you don’t belong just because that’s what you studied for.
