Advice About Copyrighting?

I have written a story that I really want to publish. But before I send it to get published, I want to get it copyrighted, to prevent my idea getting stolen. My story means so much to me, I would feel like dying if my story was stolen. Does anyone know a way I can copyright my story? There’s about nineteen chapters and four pages to each chapter. It’s been my dream for so long to become an author. Will someone give me advice?

You can copyright music or writing very easily by putting a copy of it t in a sealed package, and mailing it back to yourself. When you receive it, don’t tamper with it or open it. Make sure the post stamp is legible, because thats what a court of law will look for when you’re ready to sue someone for plagarism.

Thats something that will protect you now, before you send it away to a publisher. Once you get it published, the publisher will take care of official copyright.

The bottom line on copyright, though… although it does happen, most people are too full of their own egos to steal other peoples’ work.
