Any advice, please?

My doctor said I have chondromalacia patellae. Whenever I have P.E. in class I get a heavy strain on my knee (I happen to have P.E. three days in a row every two weeks) which makes it difficult to walk up and down stairs and hurts for days on end. I don’t even have to get tired for my knees to hurt. I don’t want to skip P.E. lessons although I did notice that after the Christmas holiday the pain was almost completely gone but it immediately came back after the first lesson. Painkillers don’t help me and I don’t want to keep skipping P.E. lessons. My dad says that it’s just because I lack exercise and he wont accept any other answer no matter what I say. What should I do? I can’t stand the pain.

I play three different sports and where I never have a break I have pain in my knees and where I play basketball my coach recommended tht I use bands for jumpers knee they would work during the game but when I took them off it would hurt so I went to my doctor and was told it was something I would grow out of. My knees still bother me but no where near as bad.

hope I helped. Sorry if I didnt
