Why do kids try to act like adults?

Always thinking they know better, we are too old, too old fashioned…adults just dont understand!

Ever think maybe just maybe we have been there & freakin done that already so we are trying to help you by preventing you kids from making the same or a much worse mistake then we have made?!

Dont we ever get a break, from paying bills, and worrying about the kids future…what will become of them once we are gone…how will they take care & support themselves?!

How about us? Maybe we just wanna hang out around the pool with a bunch of friends & have a great time without worrying about kids being so ungrateful all the time by talking back to adults & disrespecting them for trying to help!

Maybe we are tired of it…maybe we dont feel like taking you to your friends house…maybe we just wanna hang out & play video games rather then clean the house, dust the furniture, do the kids laundry, work x amount of hours at work just to come home to more work & have to cook dinner…I mean seriously…on behalf of all adults here!

Cut adults some slack once in a while! Sheesh!

good question! when it’s all about “me, me, me” i guess nobody ever really grows up.

I hope that when I’m older I still have time to let out my inner child even if it’s once a year.

Well i AHve to admit that i don’t know which side to go. I know that some adults are just like kids you know. Where taling about them never growing up and never having the knoledge of an adult. But I mean can’t adults have fun too? Can’t kids be mature? Idk if you get me… i don’t get myself either.
