Question about when you give up your child for adoption?

dillonsmommy1023 is right they dont have any say on what you where going to do with your baby, I think if they did I wouldnt of been aloud to keep my first son

I’m adopted as well. My parents died so I really had no choice. Technically it still is YOUR child, its your flesh and blood. Just someone else is taking care of it. If you are considering adoption, there is always OPEN adoption where you can see your child sometimes and write to him and explain to him when he gets older why you gave him up. No matter what age you are, that child is yours. Just b/c your under 18, doesn’t give your parents the right to make choices for you! It is totally your choice what you want to do with YOUR child!

I am adopted, but I got to see my mom a few times. I really don’t think that your parents have any authority over whether their child gives up the baby or not. I don’t know how it all works…but technically the baby is still your child, you conceived it. But it’s someone elses daughter/son. YOu may have conceived the baby but you’re not the one raising it.
