How does ad-sense work?

You have to sign up for adsense through google first. You will get a publication code which you put into your profile under the settings on FA. Basically, when you write a howto here, google will post YOUR ads onto the howto and depending on how many views your page gets, and how many clicks you get on those ads, you get paid. A lot of sites will take a percentage of the money you earn for themselves but FA does not, you get all of it. I earned a little myself from adsense, though don’t expect to make much unless you are exceptionally successful. If it’s something you’d really like to get into, I’d suggest you try writing articles for other sites as well, like Triond, though they do take a percentage of your revenue.
