What would be an appropriate action to a prank call?

I know this is really hard to take but at least you know who your true friends are now and who you can really depend on. Think about it from this perspective - it’s better to get screwed over now and suffer a sleepy day at work than to get screwed in the future when you entrust your “friends” with important things. Better to feel depressed for a few days now than to lose, say, your money or your family in the future just because you entrusted them to the wrong people.

The best way to handle someone prank calling you in the middle of the night - answer your phone and say “If you call my number one more time i will call the police and file harassment charges”. Yes, they can actually get charged with harassment in cases like this. As for your ex-friends, thats just a part of life. Friends come and go in our lives and its better that the bad ones leave sooner and teach us a lesson in who we trust.

Actually, if someone really needs your help in the middle of the night for an emergency that might be bad, but really, if they know youre upset about it they’ll keep it up.

Someone was prank calling me, So I had my boyfriend take the phone and pretend to be my father. I am 20… but it was hillarious when he started telling him that he was a pedo for going after a 12 year old girl and harassing me. the guy never called back.
