How accurate a pregnancy test taken via blood sample?

A blood pregnancy test is 99% accurate. Its very rare for one to be wrong..and usually when they are, it was done too soon and didnt detect the pregnancy yet.

A blood test is the most accurate, altho, i had a blood test 4yrs ago to see if i was pregnant and it came back negative. I still didnt get my Periods so went back to doctor and he did it again, it turned out i was pregnant and 10wks at that. I would of been about 8 weeks when the test came back negative. My doc had no answer for why it came back negative the 1st time.
