Answer #1

I think this speaks to how lawsuit happy our society is. But, give the girl a break. She’s nervous about speaking to an attorney for the first time and it’s her dad who is filing suit ultimately, not her. Don’t be nervous, the attorney is on YOUR side. Be honest, tell him exactly what happened. They’re going to want details on what happened before the accident and afterwards, as well as any injuries. Glad you’re okay!

Answer #2

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

Just be honest with the attorney.

As to a reason for suing, sometimes it IS necessary to sue or threaten suit, in order to get the insurance company to own up to the responsibility of medical and property (the motorcycle) damage. If there were no citations issued then it might be necessary to sue to prove who was responsible for the accident.

Answer #3

it sounds like your dad is a jerk. unless there's a GOOD reason for suing, (and 'I can get money' doesn't count,) maybe you should tell your dad to grow up and stop taking advantage of people

honestly, Ambulence drivers are some of the worst in the world (just as a blanket statement). maybe they’ll get some punitive damages brought against the company and they’ll start looking at ways of improving their drivers abilities to prevent further accidents

Answer #4

they’ll ask you what happened, if you got hurt, blah blah blah. nothing to worry about. why is your dad suing? insurance should cover any damages. I realize there are extenuating circumstances that I obviously don’t know about, but barring those, it sounds like your dad is a jerk. unless there’s a GOOD reason for suing, (and “I can get money” doesn’t count,) maybe you should tell your dad to grow up and stop taking advantage of people. I doubt the driver hit you on purpose, and I’m sure he feels bad. maybe raping him of his income for the next 20 years is a little harsh. anyways, just something to think about…live the dream.

Answer #5

well… how badly hurt were you ? I’m sure the ambulance driver has liabilty protection, I don’t think suing is necessary. Besides, their insurance will pay your medical bills. I think that’s more than enough. I don’t see why suing is an option, nothing is coming out of your father’s pocket, so be a little more considerate. You’re both alive, thankfully, and if you’re typing on here you’re not too hurt. Be thankful, not vengeful.

Answer #6

don’t you think the guilt of hitting someone was enough 4 the drivers?
