How do you accept the fact that someone's gone out of your life (not dead)?

well im still working with this my self kind of. the only thing i can think of is to try and find someone different so in my case a new girl but in yours it would be a guy

If they don’t want to ahve anything to do with you, then they are a sht person and you should just think fck you and move on from them. It’s hard, yes, but what a crap friend they are for wanting to have nothing to do with you.

I’m going through this right now. Moving on from someone you cared a lot about is possibly one of the hardest things because they were such a huge part of your life. But you have to accept the fact that they’re gone and you will meet someone who makes you just as happy as they did. You can’t expect to wake up one morning and you won’t miss them any more.. It takes time. Days, weeks, months, however long. But you’ll get there :) Remove everything from your life that reminds you of that person, so you’ll eventually stop thinking about them.

I just can’t =( it takes me like weeks maybe to accept it , to realize it

When you start to accept and ready to focus on your own life. If a person chooses to move on…that’s their choice. There might be a loss or grieving factor but when you really are ready, a detachemnt takes place and you move on, wishing them well, and focus on all the possabilities that lay in wait for you. What you lost you gained in experience.
There is a quote by Richard Bach….. You are led through your lifetime by the inner learning creature, the playful spiritual being that is your real self…..Don’t turn away from possible futures before you’re certain you don’t have anything to learn from them.

It’s hard, and I’m still not over someone and it’s been over a year. We dated for 4 years, then it just went away after that and haven’t seen each other since. You just have to realize there are many more fish and the sea, and many more great friends to have other than just that one person. People move on, life goes on. Hakuna Matata, thats the motto. :)

I wouldnt say find someone new, but make new friends. With new friends comes distraction and that helps get over someone leaving.

It comes with time. Everything comes with time. All u have to do is remember the good reasons why this person is out of your life . And everything happens for a reason, if they were meant to be in your life they would be .

although it is difficult to accept,we must accept.

You have to move one for the better. As much as it hurts you have to be strong and accept the fact that it is over. its not easy but give it some time.. be optimistic, meet new people and especially be happy.

you have to realise, you have your WHOLE life ahead of you and that this person was only in like a small part of your story! Just because you guys aren’t together anymore, doesn’t mean its the end..it simply means a beginning of a new chapter in your life and that it is time to move on :) There is SEVEN BILLION people in this world and I bet you there will be one PERFECT guy for you somewhere but you just haven’t met him yet!
