Answer #1

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ANSWERS AND I DID TAKE TO THE VET AND IT WAS A FALSE PREGNANCY AND SHE HAS APPT TO GET SPAYED. GREAT TALKING TO YOU ALL!!!

Answer #2

a dogs heat last for 3 weeks, however if you are sure they did not get stuck then she could just be experincing a false pregnancy. I would still set up a exam with a vet if you have not taken her yet, She should have a good physcial done, vaccines and a stool check. Then make appointmen to have her spayed

Answer #3

your best bet would be to take her to a vet to be examined. but if you are positive she didn’t come into contact with a male while she was in heat it could be a false pregnancy sometimes canines go through what is called a false pregnancy. in which a hormonal imbalace cause her body to believe it is pregnant. the belly and teats may swell teat may also produce milk…if this is the case the symptoms will fade in a month or so.

Answer #4

You separate them when she is on her period?

If you’ve been waiting for her to bleed, you’re too late…her fertile period is not necessarily while she’s bleeding. Unless you’ve been watching them 24 hours a day, you don’t know that they didn’t mate.
