About Depoprovera
I have been on depoprovera for about 7 years non stop and never had a period until the other day. For about 6 days I bled just once in the day, not all day either to the point where I wasnt even sure whether to bother with a tampon and I kept thinking it was gone again.
Now nothing again for a week so I guess I am back to not getting it. what is this all about and has anyone else had this?
same thing happened to me I was on it and for ages and then I started bleeding. it took 2 weeks for the bleeding to stop. when I went to the doctor she didnt say why I started bleeding but I had to stop taking the depo. my last injection was january and I still havent had a period.
depo often makes womens periods stop. it mad
however, I am VERY surprised your nurse / doctor hasn’t suggested a break…it took over a year for my perods to start again after I stopped having the depo!…they don’t normaly recomend having it for 5 cosecutive years wthout a break…
but to your question..you should check it out with your doc, maybe your body is trying to tell you something!
