About ceo and steve and work

Steve wrote this letter and mailed it today to the ceo‘s home: I think it was a good idea what do you think

Dear ceo: I am writing this letter with a little trepidation. In spite of my apprehension to send you another letter, I am very impressed with the following (I read this on the internet): throughout his career, mr. Ceo has received many honors and awards including being named “best ceo” in specialty finance by investor magazine and “business leader of the year” by business magazine. Due to the fact that I read how wonderful xyz bank is to work for as well as having you as their ceo I started to think “i would love to be able to come back and be a part of xyz bank.” therefore, I am enclosing my resume for you to look over. I hope if and when you contact me it will be with great news. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Here is the background as to why I am asking the above: my friend steve back in december 2007 was unjustly fired from his job. Steve worked in a bank branch. The female exboss harasses all the staff. Any way after he was unjustly fired he wrote a detailed letter to the ceo of the bank that brought the bank he worked for. And followed it up with telephone calls and emails. however, he knows that the ceo does not read his mail so steve obtained the ceo’s home address and mailed the letter to the ceo at his home any way steve found out from his excoworkers that ever since steve’s letter to the ceo the exboss is minding her p’s& q’s. Also the exboss had her yearly review and is really behaving herself. the detailed letter explained everything that the exboss did to the employees ad customers. In other words the bad way she treated everyone. It was a very damaging letter

Answer #1

NO you do not sound dumb. Steve does not want his old job back but he would not mind going back to the company. Also ever since his damaging letter the exboss has been behaving. She is on warning.

Answer #2

I feel a little dumb here. But.. may I clariify?? Is Steve trying to get his old job back or did Steve apply at a different bank. It sounds like he is trying to get his old job back (now the the exboss is minding her p’s and q’s)??
