A virgin dilema

My boyfriend and I have been together 2 years as of this Friday. We discussed the issue of sex last night and I found out he wants to wait until we are married because he doesn’t want me to get pregnant which I can understand. We’ve talked about this before and he said he wants to have sex before the end of 2009. He is still unsure. He wants to get married in about 5 years. We have been living together for almost a year. We will have been living together for 6 years by the time we lose our virginity to eachother (both virgins). I know for a fact the sexual tension is going to be really high. What is your opinion on this matter?

I agree with thehelper.

use a condom or course. for you first time. it also depends on how old you guys are which im not sure. if you guys think you are ready, then go for it :) its a great thing and im sure you guys will love it!

start taking birth control. If you think your going to spend the rest of your life together go ahead and have sex.

PS: read the instructions that the birth control comes with. some birth control medications take like 2 monthes to become effective.

I’m 21 he’s 22 and I’ve been on the pill for almost 2 years. I know it’s odd for someone my age to go on an advice website but I needed the help. Besides getting advice from 15 year olds (not implying you two) everything should be ok I guess. It just confuses me when he says he wants to then he wants to wait 5 years. That’s 7 years total because we have been together almost 2 years.
