Actually I hate shopping of any kind. The few times I buy shoes, it’s generally from a jumble sale or a secondhand shop - OK, they may not be so stylish (I wouldn’t know the difference) but they tend to be comfortable, since someone else has already broken them in. And they are cheap!

There are different types of shoes for different occassions and this is what I usually look for, when I purchase or am thinking about purchasing shoes:

For shoes that you would wear to work, I would say 1, 2, 3, 5

For everyday shoes I would choose 1, 2, 5

For special occasions 2, 3, 4 (who cares about the price in this case you only wear them once and if its for a wedding or something like that, why not go all out)
