Does it hurt after you get your cartliege piecred?!?! Whats the difference between a needle & gun I am having a pro do it so do I need to worry ?!?! Please help, only 14, and scared

I’m 14 and when I got mine it didn’t hurt at all. For all of my friends it did, but it wasn’t even noticeable for me. I have a semi-high tolerance for pain though, so that might just be me…Make sure to use the stuff they give you everyday for as long as they say or it will get really infected and hurt.

I wanted to get mine done when I was 13 but chickened out, but then I went again when I was 14 and it was nothing. It doesnt hurt at all, but it does get sore for like a few days afterwards.

I was about 14 when I got my first cartilage pierced. It didn’t hurt, it just burned a little bit afterwards. It varies from person to person on what your pain tolerance is. I had all 6 piercings in my ears done with the gun and they’re all fine. There’s no reason to be scared it just felt like a little pinch and then burned a little. If it really bothers you after you can try holding ice on it. Make sure you clean it as much as they tell you too so it doesn’t get infected though. Otherwise you should be fine.
