A republican is suing Palin over using a private account for email?

So I read in the news today that a fellow Republican is, in fact, suing Sarah Palin in the court of Alaska regarding Sarah’s usage of a private email to issue state related correspondence.

From the article, “more than 1,100 others were withheld…citing executive priveledge.” Sorry, but this really, REALLY bothers me, that anybody thinks their above the law AND can use some 3rd party service to hide their official state business from their constituents.

Do you think this lawsuit is justified? Or should it be kicked out because the American people deserve ignorance, and not accountability, from our leadership?

I know you agree with me on this thedude, but this type of behavior is the most dangerous result of Cheney’s unitary exective powergrabbing. Our democracy is doomed if we don’t start engaging in more transparent government. And people should be up in arms over it. But too many Americans are lazy and don’t realize the damages being done to all of our civil liberaties by allowing elected officals to operate in complete secrecy.

And thanks for asking these kinds of questions…
