A really stupid guitar question...

E|—| B|—| G|—| D|-2–2–3–3–3–3–3–3—| A|-2–2–3–3–3–3–3–3—| E|-0–0–1–1–1–1–1–1—|

What does it mean if the numbers are at the same time… I know its a chord but…I still dont get it xd

Answer #1

yeah.. that’s guitar tab…

the line means the strings… the lower is the base and at top is the lead the number corresponds to the guitar FRET when the number are have same position (you can strum).. if not align.. PLUCKING

e|—| B|—| G|—| D|-2- A|-2- E|-0–

the example above is E MINOR… YOU WILL strum it not pluck

Answer #2

right well as you know…the numbers on the side are the strings and the numbers going >>> that way are were you put your fingers on the frets, on that particular string and it means that you need to put your finger on all the chords on that string so for whats above, you need to use 3 different fingers to hold down those 3 different notes on the fretboard

Answer #3

the tabs I use look different

Answer #4

that is a regular tab… its a chord I guess…

Answer #5

do you have regular tabs?

Answer #6

ask mitchel jackson!

Answer #7

it means you hold down all the notes listed, and strum on the apropriate strings
