Is it normal to have an irregular period?

well if you started getting your periods like 1 or 2 years be4 then it takes time for your period to become normal…like 3-4 years otherwise your normal :)

want to switch? I have my period every month no fail. Maybe you should take birth control to regulate your periods more. But if that doesn’t bother you so much, its absolutely normal and you have nothing to worry about! However, at your next check up definitely ask your dr. about it

yep. my cousin has the same thing. one month she’ll get her period twice and the next month not at all, it’s pretty lame but it’s nothing to worry about… who knows, you might have pillow babies… that would be hard to explain. lol

I’m having irregular period myself I was on depo shot the last time I got it was In July of 08 I been off of it for almost six months now my period is coming back normal now I got it Nov,and It started Dec 29,2008

depending on your age which seems quite young yes it is normal when I was I don’t know 14- 17 my period was always all over the place and sometime after that it became regular now I’m 20 and on the pill which I do recommend if your problem is bothering you… my advice

1. buy a calendar and mark your period on the days you get it I started doing so at a young age and realized even though my period was very off I had a 4 month pattern
2. Depending on your age talk to your doctor or health clinic or w/e and go on the pill you do not want to start having sex with your period jumping all over the place you will never have an idea when your ovulating and you will get paranoid and worried when your period doesn’t come its very stressful

hi, I started my periods in july 2008 and I had them ever month or if I missed 1-2 months they would start again, but in february 2009 was my last period and there was hardly anything there and lasted 2-3 days and I havent had 1 since? I dont know what to do, is this normal as I have only had them for comming up a year from starting them?

Think you’re normal. I have irregular period too. But mine is more extreme. I have period once in about 2-4 months. I remember when I suffered EDs, I dont have period for more than 6 months. (Due to malnutrition). So girl, maybe because you did not eat healthy or maybe you’re born like that.

yep your normal so no worries =] my period is the same way actually… so see your not alone either =]] I’m sure there’s other girls who are the same way as us too. and yes yes wonderful idea… put them cute lil baby pillows in the pillow factory… I might have to get one. I’ve always wanted to raise my own baby… and one as cute as a pillow <3 LMAO! you really need to have your friend talk to her sis about “girl things” big time lol

I’m so glad I foun this because I was beginning to get worried. I have the same problem, I don’ remember when my last period was and I was also wondering if that was normal.

haha ok thanks eskimo2008 yea I got bored one time and did that and my friend has before too so my friend’s sis was like gasp OMG YOU GUYS ARE going to GET PREGNANT! WHAT ARE YOU going to DO THEN HUH? HOW ARE YOU going to CARE FOR YOUR BABIES?! and we were like… huh… we’ll put em in a pillow factory so they can find a good, loving owner lmao my friend’s sis is VERY dumb when it comes to “female health” hahaha

Don t worry about it, only some very lucky girls do ahev regular periods, mine are very iregular but if your considering have sex and if its really upsetting you, then go to your doctors, you can go on (the pill) wich means you can have sex, but you can have a regular period, but go to your doctors, but dont be embarrest there is alsorts of different pills you can have, that dont mean yoru having sex aswell hope thsi helps
