A little bump on the inside on my top lip HELP

Ok I noticed I have a little bump on my top lip its like kinda in the inside of my top lip is that makes sense, you can’t see it at all but I can feel it. If it press it, it does stings a little. I’ve put that cream that you use for treating cold sores and fever blisters but as far as I can tell its not doing anything for it. Has anyone ever had this I dont want to go to a doctor cause I dont want to waste my money I just want to get rid of it cause I know it’s there! please someone help me!

How long has it been there? Ever considered it might be a blister? Usually whitish center, red surround, raw-looking, commonly from eating acitic foods like tomato products, citric fruits like oranges, lemons, candy of the sour-variety with high citric-acid content, or you could have irritated it by biting it accidentially and got inflamed. Make sure you rinse your mouth out with clean fresh water a couple of times a day, and try a little oragel on a Q-Tip to numb. See if it doesn’t clear up in a week or so. This advice is given to you, being that you are trying, and are aware of the obvious possibility,of Herpies virus you’ve already considered, but they are usually found OUTSIDE the mouth, but not always. Just wondering…you don’t “chew” tobacco, do you? If so, a small lesion inside the lip can be a sign of oral cancer…but lets not get crazy. As a paramedic for 12 years I’ve learned one thing…usually the simplist answer is the right answer. Not always, but thats the odds. Hope this helps.
