I don’t know if you get this product over there. but if you do you can give him pectrolyte (2.5 ml). Also go ask your local pharmacists. They usually know best

its best you ask the doctor or you can ask your local pharmacist. I know when my daughter was an infant she could only do meds that specifically say for infants. But if you cant reach your childs pediatrician, then you can call your local pharmacist and ask them.

I think they may mean pediolyte and it is sold in the infant/cnild section of grocery store or drug store. That replaces the electrolytes baby loses with diarrhea and vomiting. you should contact your pediatrician before treating the diarrhe yourself. Those little guys dehydrate pretty quickly, so it would probably be best to call your ped’s nurse and see if the docc wants to see then. If baby is crying and no tears come out, has not peed for several hours call the doc and go to the ER if they can’t see you as these are signs of dehydrarion and can accelerate quickly.

ACTUALLY I do mean PECTROLYTE… the names around here differ from those you have in your country…it is probably the same product though. It is whitish and doesn’t taste very good.

if you’re in canada or the us call 811, its called nurseline, its basically a free trip to the doctor, they’ll telll you everything you need to know. and its free :)
