The casual style was really popular: jeans and a t-shirt with some awkwardly large white sneakers. Grunge also become popular, which meant oversized flannel shirts and baggy jeans. blue jeans, in like a bootcut (not skinny leg jeans or flared jeans), oversized t-shirts and sneakers were the main popular things to wear not including accessories.
