70 years old

Do you think when your age reaches 50 there’s a lot that you can’t do the same when you’re in 40’s. In our generation I hope we reach 65 to 70yrs old. I’m 48 years old right now. What do you think?

no I cant wait to be 60.. free bus pass and they have to house you! People always come to see you :) hahaa

I’m 38 and I was at a party with a load of friends on Saturday when we discovered that most of them are your age(48). I couldn’t believe they were all the same age! Some of them seem more-or-less the same as me and some of them seem, well, ‘grown-up’. A lot of it seemed to do with how old their kids were - the ones with adult kids seem to be older, but also to have a lot more time and money.

We are much “younger” these days. Just look at a picture of your mom and dad when they were 48, then of your grandparents when they were 48. People take more care of themselves today, to some extent, but also being part of the baby boomer crowd that never wants to get old… well that’s a part of it. For me, the worst thing is reading glasses. Don’t get me started, I could write a ten page rant on the darn things. (yes I know there’s laser surgery but ouch)
