50 gigabytes - internet access ??

If you have 50 gigabytes of free internet acssess on your mobile phone, what amount of time can you spend on it before that runs out?? (I only will use it to check and write emails and msn) if you don’t know excatly could you take an educated guess? Thank you x

The real answer is that it really does depend. I have Verizon and am using my phone as a modem. If this is what you are (or are thinking about doing) the newest version of their desktop application does a “check” each time you log in to help you keep track of what you’ve used in the latest billing period to help you prevent overages. 50 gigs is a lot. The measure is how much data you “move around” not how much you store- so streaming can add up quickly, but I’ve used the service for about a year and have never gone over, but I don’t travel a lot.

Not sure what the actual speed of your access is supposed to be, but you can calculate based on the available speed (probably listed in bytes or meagbytes per second and then assume that you won;t use quite that much and factor it from there. My very rough guess is that you can probably do “regular” surfing of the internet for about 40 hours and massive streaming for about 5.

Answer #2

Megabytes is a measure of speed.

When you open your email and things like that, it’s technically ‘downloading’.

Answer #3

ow k im confused now but thanx anyway

Answer #4

I dont do any downloading, I think it was gigabytes would it make more sense if it was megabytes?

Answer #5

That really depends on how much downloading you’re doing - it’s a measure of space, not time.
