3 inch wedge boots?!

Ok so coming into winter,my dad wants to buy me a new pair of black knee high boots because my other ones don’t have any support around the ankle anymore and my left foot is pronating in them! :/

  • I was born without arches in my feet and had to build them up so! Anyway I don’t have to wear special shoes but I always wear flats like converse etc. And can barely walk in heels so I like never wear them. Not comfortable. Anyway I usually get boots without a heel and my dad and I were in the shop today and he was pushing for these flat boots, but I saw wedge boots. I love the look of them and I can walk fine in them, just feel taller. I wanted to get them but my dad wouldn’t,he said that my feet would be wrecked walking around town on them, eventho it’s a sturdy wedge heel with a bit of platform. Made of leather, zip up. My feet aren’t and can’t slide forward and there’s plenty of toe room! Basically,I’m going back 2 the shop 2morro 2 pick the boots and I wanna know if 3 inch wedge heel boots would hurt after walking around town all day!?!??? Oh and the flat boots are dearer!!

Personally I wouldn’t go for the wedge… I had a pair a few years back and it got to the point where I had to bring shoes to change into all the time, or just not wear them at all.

I think any kind of heel 3in+ is only good for short amounts of time, plus heels aren’t good for your feet in general. The higher the heel you wear it shortens your calf muscle after a while, until you can no longer walk flat footed…
