23 and still no period.

I have a friend who is 23 and never had a period or sex. Her sister is 22 and never had a period. They have the same parents. She is concerned she will never be able to have children. She went to the doctor at 17 and was told to exercise and she did and still nothing. Should she be concerned? I am.

hmm yes, my sister and I are twins, I have periods and boobs etc but she doesnt, she has polycystic ovaries, which means she has little inactive cysts on her ovaries that stops her having periods but apparently she still ovulates and is fertile, but if your friend has it, those cysts could be active or become active and thats very very dangerous, she should see her doctor and tell him/her about it. He can test them both for it along with their fertility he could freeze their eggs if they dont ovulate for future use

Their could be something wrong with her hormones. She should see a doctor now. Not go by what they said when she was 17.
