1970's help! Need some help for next weekend!

Hey so next weekend we are performing a Cabaret weekend and the theme is 1970’s. I’m really confused at what to wear. What is 70’s style? I wanted to wear bright colors but I didnt know what else…so than my sister suggested I wear something glam-rock. And I really like that idea…but I’m open to any more ideas about 1970s styles .Also, what should I wear if I do decide to go glam-rock?

Big shoes, Big funky white rimmed plastic glasses with dark plastic instead of glass in them, afro hair, tight pants with big stripes or big patterns, polyester shirt or blouse (I mean nasty polyester looking clothes), big belt and buckle, high heal wedge shoes were in style and are again, big fake rings, Button down polyester shirts unbuttoned till you see some cleavage(tight shirt), you can curl your hair but don’t fluff it out just hairspray it exactly as it comes off the curling iron.

glam rock wasnt really big in the 70s more in the 80s the 70s was about discos and hippys were still popular flared jeans will work great, because they were around anything you see in old movies with discos in them and those stonewash jeans with short midrif tops and permed hair
