well I need to get around to telling my parents about it. I’m just afraid to because I dont want him to leave me..but he’s also scared about going to jail.

My husband and I were the same age as you two when we started dating. He wasn’t immature or pressuring me for sex. It’s really not that big of an age difference, most women are around 4 years younger than the man. Women mature faster. As long as you trust him and don’t do anything you feel uncomfortable with (like a relationship with any guy, even the same age as you) everything should be ok.

When I was 15 I dated a 22 year old. My parents were not happy about it but they didn’t stop it. They treated me like an adult. It wasn’t till years later I was able to look back and see how immature he was and how insecure. He couldnt date girls his own age because he needed to feel superior and worldly. He was sexually inept, BUT, he did introduce me to a world of literature, art and music that I still value today.

You;re a little older.. there’s a big difference between 15 and 17. But just be aware of the difference. He has 5 years over you. Make sure it’s to your advantage rather than it being a negative in the course of the relationship.

Well if you turn 18 in three months then I dont see anything wrong
