Do you think it's normal for people to cheat?

I think Hollywood attempts to portray is as being much more normal than it actually is. I don’t know why, probably because people like watching those types of story lines. I don’t think it’s a true reflection of real life, though.

I think it’s common, but I don’t think it’s normal for a “healthy” and loving relationship to have one partner or both partners cheat on each other. That doesn’t seem like a relationship to me at all because the partners obviously don’t care enough about each other if they’re having sex with other people….

Honestly I think real love is scarce nowadays. It certainly is never right and is never healthy for a relationship. I believe that if you are intentionally cheating then it’s an indication it wasn’t really love. If it was a mistake, say you had too much to drink, then yes it can simply be a mistake. I think if you truly loved someone to that level, you wouldn’t ever WANT to cheat, let alone intentionally going through with it, I mean sure there’s attraction, but I believe if it’s real love you’d still never truly want to do anything despite how attracted you are. Just my opinion, I know I’m young, probably not mature enough to reallu answer.

my mother, when she was pregnant, well she cant have sex, and my father cheated on her for sex, now i do understand nine months is a long time. but c’mon bro. she left him, but around a year later, she took him back, and he hasnt done anything like that since, and shes been through two pregnancies since then.

cheating is something only fools do to make themselves feel better…. men use it to assert “dominance” women do it because of passion (passion being she wants one guy for cash or something and the other because of his wang)

Yes, it’s normal but it shouldn’t be. It’s disgusting. Most people don’t care, that majority will screw the rest of us…. I really hate cheaters –_–

Well, its not healthy for the relationship, but people cheat all the time, but it doesnt mean they dont love the person theyre with any less. I suggest not cheating , but things do happen in life. If youre in love with somebody, and you have sex with somebody else as a one time thing, that doesnt mean you dont love the person youre with.

I think it is normal for young people to get restless in their relationships because cheating is not acceptable in any circumstance.
