If a man and a woman share a bed is the man supposed to have the side closest to the door, if so why?

I never heard this. I always liked being on the left side regardless of the bed’s orientation with the door.

I don’t think it really matters? As long as your both comfortable then it doesn’t matter :D

My parents just go by personal preference. My mom always has to have the left side of the bed. I, however, always have to have the right because I’m used to being next to my alarm clock and lamp.

Also so we don’t disturb your slumber when we get up to pee. {:^P

However, if a women has more machismo then her man well she is the protector and there you have it.

i reckon if the man goes over his womens house and he hears the womans parents coming he can just jump out of bed and run through the backdoor

I don’t believe it matters. At least not to me. I usually like sleeping close to the door (I have a micro-bladder)
