Were you surprised to hear of Whitney Houston's death?

Some would say that, given her lifestyle, the tragedy was a long time coming … do you agree, or were you stunned by the sudden news?

Answer #1

I haven’t heard of her until I went to YouTube yesterday. Yeah……

Answer #2

I can’t say i was stunned by the news, i also can’t say i expected it. I was devastated, non the less. She was brilliant. A real wasted talent in my opinion.

Answer #3

i was a litte shocked that she was dead but i wasn’t really big on her but i new her songs were good and famous but i new she was on the d*ugs so i’m kinda not suprised about it x

Answer #4

Sort of, I mean her death came out of the blue. You didn’t hear about her being ill or feeling sick, it was just like “Whitney Houston has just passed away…”

Answer #5

It did. I thought she was getting better. I love Whitney. Its tragic

Answer #6

I was. I thought she had cleaned up after getting away from Bobby Brown. After that I haven’t thought about her at all. Assumed she was ok. I know I’m also assuming what happened to her, but will take my chances. When I heard the news, the first thing I did was go on youtube to see her sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Answer #7

I will be surprised if it is not d-rug related.

Answer #8

Yes I was surprised at the news and especially so close to grammy night. Regardless of the rumors and her history I haven’t heard the cause of death reported so I’m not jumping to any conclusions on what’s speculated. She had a one of a kind voice and beauty to match. She truly did have it all and it’s tragic, regardless.

Answer #9

Not as shocked as when MJ died but still a little bit.

Answer #10

Agreed

Answer #11

No. It was no surprise at all. Drug addicts don’t live forever no matter how famous they are.

Answer #12

I was not shocked at all, so many famous singer people die ‘cause of drug problems and other stuff that everyone else dies from. She is another human being that didn’t take care of herself. It’s sad but it happens a lot, everyday people die.

Answer #13

No. No can abuse their body in such a way for such a long time and not die in such extreme circumstances. I do feel sorry for her and her family, but im not distraught.

Answer #14

I was shocked.
