How do I know if he's trying to tell me something or not?

You could be… it all depends on his personality and how he shows his emotions. My boyfriend puts songs up about random stuff, it doesn’t mean he’s feeling that way towards me. You should casually ask him how he feels about you.. that song could mean something to him, or he could just like the beat.. :)

my boyfriend listens to pantera ok idk if you know ho they are but they are a very hateful group haha. but that doesnt mean he feels that way to me, not at all, its just his music taste, but on your side it depends if hes been actingdifferent lately, how long you to have been going out, any other hints…etc. :)

It seems to me that you want this guy to be more straight-forward. You might simply tell him that you prefer guys to have the courage to tell you something to their face, rather than being a coward and indirectly indicating something. If he asks you to explain, just give an example of a guy who has ZERO spine being a wimp and not speaking up about something. Besides, the best way to know if a guy has a certain maturity level, is by whether he can actually speak up at the right time, good or bad, for your long-term good. If he can’t tell you something directly, and/or can’t go to bat for you when it’s important to do so, it’s time to tell the guy “later days” - you can do better than that!
