What is a Healthy way to release anger?

I have always been poor at releasing my anger for years I would just bottle it up inside me and try to forget about it but that turned against me. After doing that for so long I am always angry now and my anger is released in bad ways. I have thoughts about killing people to the exact detail and things like that because of my anger. For awhile I had cut myself in a way to release all my anger I was able to take it out on something was able to hurt someone without killing anyone.Im trying to quit cutting for good for the sake of my loved ones though so I need a new alternative to release my anger.

Go get into Anger Management or say, “Goosefraabaaa” or say, “Whoosssaaa” say it gentally..

1.) Hitting a punching bag 2.) Going for a calm relaxing walk 3.) Trying a hectic hard working exercise/sport.

personally I’m one for the ‘walking/running’ idea or you could try doing something creative like throwing some paint at an old t-shirt or something. sorry if this isnt much help, but I hope you find something that works for you
