I've had my temps since last june,, and yes i know i should probably get on getting my liscence, lol anywho, i took two drivers ed classes and BOTH teachers told me you can drive with ONE friend in the car with a parent as well, with your temps..however my parents insist on teling me im wrong and it's not allowed..they dont believe me when i tell them that, but also have no proof i cant. so i was wondering which is correct here?
If you are driving and your parent is in the passenger seat then its ok :) I just went through drivers ed, they recommend that you don't, but its not illegal to have one friend in the car. If the parent is there.
Perhaps your parents won't allow you to have a friend in the car, and that's their rule not the state's rule that they're going by.

if the friend is 18 yes they can but they are then classed as an adult.
I don't think so. My brother is 16 and he said that you can't.

If you're accompanied by a person who's 18 or over, yes =)
