What do you think of this poem I wrote when iwas 14?

Okay, im 16 right now and I wrote this poem when I was 14. I had my first love a 14, his name was Robert.He moved away at the end of the school year in 2007. I never told him how I felt. This is the first time I ever put and e thing I wrote out in the open for people to read.

I don’t know why I was in love, I promised myself that I wouldn’t ever fall, in love with anyone at all That I would never give my heart away, No matter what, Come what may… But I fell in love with a guy And all both of us have to say is good-bye, I may never be able to see him again, In my heart there is a heavy rain… Drops of hurt and brokeness I seem to have lost my happiness, But I will pull through. Thank you for the past year we had together, Even though I thought it would be forever, Maybe both of us weren’t meant to be Maybe your true love was never meant to be me, I never got to be by yourside ‘till the day was through I never got to hold you tight and say, I Love You
