standard in the automotive market refers to base models. WHIch varies by year. The corolla comes in the CE, LE, XLE, S, XRS. The low end basic models are usually manual, limited power options, no spoiler , no sun roof, v4 engine.
To answer your question, the CE is basic. THe years fange from like 1991- 2009. BUt if you are looking for alow cost economical car, the 2002-2003’s are the best. The still have a high Kelley blue book value and would have low payments used
