i had all the info but i went and lost it :((

i wrote about 5 Pages on it :P hes trying to tel you about the brutality of war…if i remember right hes telling us of someone dying infront of him and he describes that in detail “In all my dreams, before my helpless sight, He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.” hes saying the man had been caught in the thick green fog “chlorine” < guessed from the symptoms,it fills your lungs like your drowning like the quotation says he questions is when he says how sweet and fitting it is to die for one’s country.

I think the poem is perfect. It speaks to you and tells war exactly how it is in detail upon detail. Wilfred Owen was an artist with that poem. I love it. <3
