Can I do Resistance Training 6 days a week and still gain weight?

Okay so I am trying to gain a few kilograms.I heard that in order to gain weight I have to have intensive weight training that’s short..And plenty of rest days in between. To recover.I do reps till full failure So I find it convenient to take breaks between each workout day.

But what if I changed it to a 6 day workout and not full failure reps.So let’s say I choose to do 15 reps for every workout. One workout per body part.

Can I still gain weight if I only rest 1 day.And workout 15 reps each other day?

Answer #1

rest is almost more important than how you do things in the gym. bodybuilders often work out each body part once a week in order to get full rest and allow for it to recover. also, if you want to gain weight, use low reps. 15 is really far too many to be achieving any sort of mass. also, eat a lot and throughout the day and be sure to have a high protein meal after your workout like whey protein
