Why did it feel like something was in the room?

Okay so the other night I was sitting in my room on my bed talking to my friend on the phone and all of a sudden it felt like someone was in the room with me but no one was It seemed as if somebody was watching me and all of the sudden I felt as if I had a lump in my throat and I started to cry really hard and started thinking about my grandpa and stuff and how much I missed him , And it felt as if he was standing with me or something ,does anyone know what caused this or why it happend ,Please leave serious answers none like “omfg that sounds scary ,or im so sorry” I want actual answers ,kay thank you .

[,My grandpa died[got killed] a month before my second birthday and I had been with him everyday since I was born and he got cremated so at my grandmas house [,where I was that night ] she has a vase like thing with some of his ashes in it in the living room which is down the hallway from my bedroom there ]

It depends how much you miss him. if you miss him so badly, your mind can start to play tricks on you to make you feel better. or for a spiritual angle, have you done anything that would make him proud recently, becuase I’ve had two experiences with my grampy who passed away on September the 11th this year.
