How come ever since I started working out it looks like I got bigger?
i started working out late last week and its thursday. i jog at a steady pace 20min a day followed by 200 crunches and 3 sets of 10 pounds on weights. but my mid section looks like it got bigger and iv even been very careful about wat i eat. wats wrong with me?
maybe its muscle ?
It could be what we call “noob gains”. This just means that your body is adjusting itself to the new routine and lifestyle and so it’s giving an effect of size.
Also, if you’re eating more carbs or drinking tons of water, you’ll notice you’re getting a bloating feeling or retaining too much water. It’ll pass once it’s been a few weeks.
