why does my mitsubishi eclipse idles low when im at a red light or a stop sing?

it does it some times and sometimes it runs perfectly me and my dad dont know what it is cant figure it out

Is your oil pressure alright?

well my oil does have a leak in it so i constantly have to keep changing it

Well looking at your profile picture im guessing its because of your weight. I suggest losing 50 lbs. or getting a Van/HEAVY DUTY truck.

is it leaking it or burning it? if there is a slight tint of blue to the exaust then the car is burning oil. If not, then yeah there is a leak somwhere, and if that was fixed maybe the problem would go away. Check to make sure your oil isn’t leaking into the coolant.
