I have 3 kids and have my tubes tide. My period last 8 days and I cramp and bleed really bad. Is there anyway I can shorten my period naturally to 3 to 4 days???

Could this change be menopausal? It can happen pretty early. I know some women have monster periods during the change. I wonder what - if any - effect the tubal ligation may have. That's beyond me.
Maybe see your doctor and make sure everything is ok inside, but also check out those hormone levels. I'm no expert, but if high or low estrogen levels are contributing to the problem, that's something that you can try to treat with diet alterations.
The pill can sometimes be a bad thing for abnormal bleeding.
Try looking into natural progesterone cream, or wild yam cream. Also/or Pregnenolone and DHEA. See if any of these might fit your needs.
If your flow is slow, you may want to try Kegel exercises and regular old exercise to get juices flowing and expel the... whatever else. I dunno, maybe get it out faster. Or (it may sound gross, but) might having sexual intercourse during your flow help? Sometimes these things can be very individualized and even mind-over-matter. Y'never know what might work for you.
You probably already have regular visits, but if this is anything new, then definitely make an appointment with your GYN or at least call.

Your diet has great deal to do with it. Every one's body is different but speaking from my own experience; In the years I was vegetarian, my cycle was lighter, hardly smelled and lasted three days. I started eating meat again; five-six days, heavier and an increase smell. bring dried orange peel to a boil, drink. An old island recipe that dulls the pain to an ache.

there is NO way to shorten the days im like that to mine lasts about a week your just gonna have to suck it up and suffer like all of us thats in your situation
im only 15 but from what I ve heard around the time your cycle is about to come on eat healthy foods with low salt and make sure and drink plenty of water.
Talk to your doctor about birth control pills. You can do away with your period. (There is no intrinsic reason to have a period.)
You could have an hysterotomy - but that is permanent.
