exercise affects periods?

so I started field hockey conditioning aug. 3 and everyday since then (not weekends) I’ve been working out 6:30-8:30 in the morning and then three times a week I also have practice from 6:30-7:30 at night. so as you can tell, I’ve been working out a lot. so I was just wondering if all this exercise is making my period late? im actually only two days late, but usually a week before my period my boobs get sore and I get really moody and then like two days before I get bad cramps. and I havent had anything! so could field hockey be making my period late?

yes it can if your close to only 18% body fat that could be why and if you get under 18% body fat you’ll stop having your period wich means you cant have kids unless your over 18%. My dads a personal trainer for tons of people and he knows this stuff like the back of his hand so I know a lot too.

No. Exercise doesnt do anything to it it’s just your hormoans messin about with you lol
